Payrun Processes

This step is used to import timesheets, leave requests, Excel timesheets, Paid Parental Leave data, or backpays into the payrun. Multiple imports can be performed in one payrun, for example leave requests, timesheets and a backpay can be imported at the same time.

Import Payrun Data

If you are performing multiple import types in one payrun, import leave requests last so that you can take advantage of the "reduce ordinary time" function.

There are five import processes available to you on this screen:

  • Payrun Standard Import
This allows you to import timesheet data from a formatted text file. Any employees included in the selected file will be added into the payrun with the imported timesheet details. Timesheets are normally generated by a third-party time and attendance system.
  • Employees Leave Requests
This allows you to import any leave requests which have been prepared in advance (payroll only, not HR3pay Lite). Employees will be added into the pay with the imported leave transactions as well as their standard pay items.
  • Payrun Excel Import
This allows you to import timesheet data from a pre-formatted Excelâ„¢ spreadsheet. Any employees included in the selected file will be added into the payrun with the imported timesheet details. The file must be formatted to the required specification. Timesheets are normally generated by a third-party time and attendance system.
  • Backpay
This function can be used to import a prepared backpay into the current payrun. The payrun will only pick up those backpays which have a status of approved.
  • Centrelink Paid Parental Leave Import (XML)
This allows you to import Centrelink payment information for employees who are claiming Paid Parental Leave, into the current payrun.
  • Timesheets Import
This allows you to import Timesheet data into the current payrun.
